Apart from teaching swimming and Alexander Technique, I work as a psychologist. Practices that have overlap and complement each other well.
The Alexander Technique brings a bodily anchoring to what is happening in the mind, offering a unique approach working with the mind-body connections. Mental challenges often go hand in hand with physical tenseness, and the opposite. After all, human challenges are rarely either purely physical or mental. It can therefore be beneficial to address both dimensions and combine the Alexander work with the more traditional talk therapeutic approaches.
Most of my psychology work, however, does not have to do anything directly with Alexander Technique.
In my psychology practice I meet my fellow human beings that are encountering challenges and changes in life. Challenges and changes that may be standing in the way of their wellbeing and thriving. They may feel powerless, or they may just like to have an unbiased sparring partner.
In cooperation we clarify their present situation and challenges as well as new perspectives and options that may help them to navigate toward a fulfilling life.
My participation depends on the client and the topic.
Feel free to contact me and see if I am a candidate to work with you.
My clinic is located at the train station in Ringsted, a 30-minute train ride from the central station in Copenhagen. I also meet with clients online and to “walk and talk” – and of course in the water.
